MecSoft Corp., developer of CAM software solutions, makes available RhinoCAM 2024 and VisualCAD/CAM 2024. RhinoCAM 2024 is the latest version of MecSoft’s fully integrated computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) plug-in for Rhino 7 and 8. VisualCAD/CAM 2024 is the completely independent CAD and CAM solution from MecSoft.
Release highlights include:
- High-speed facing cut methods in two- and three-axis
- Contact Tool condition enhancement in three-axis surface machining
- Z axis as the rotary axis for four-axis continuous machining
- Drilling in five-axis continuous mode machining
- Numerous postprocessor enhancements
- Expanded RhinoCAM SDK for automating machining
- Numerous productivity and user interface enhancements
- Additional enhancements to the NEST and Profile-NEST modules
