The global industry collaboration and technology alliance Revolution In Simulation created to accelerate innovation via democratization of engineering simulation, announces Future Facilities, Inc. as a new participating sponsor and collaborator.
“With the advent of cheaper and ever more powerful computing, CAE techniques have increased their footprint over the past years,” says Future Facilities CEO, Hassan Moezzi. “However, the enormous potential of mathematical modelling has yet to be realized beyond the expert domain of engineers and scientists.”
“... we have captured the physical behavior of the data center with a full 3D, physics-based representation, which ultimately allows stakeholders to predict and quantify the engineering cause and effect of any proposed decision prior to actual physical implementation,” says Sherman Ikemoto, managing director. “Through this link between virtual and physical, the digital twin aligns technical operations with the business objectives of a data center. This is a new, scientifically based methodology to manage the business performance of a highly technical and complex system, replacing the historical rules of thumb and best practices.”
Future Facilities adds its name to a steadily increasing list of contributors that now include: Akselos, Ansys, Aras, ASSESS, BETA CAE, Beyond CAE, Dassault Systémes SolidWorks, EASA, ESRD, ESTECO, Front End Analytics, Hexagon MSC Software, Kinetic Vision, Modelon, NAFEMS, nTopology, Ohio Supercomputer Center, OnScale, PASS Suite, PLM Alliances, Pointwise, UberCloud and VCollab.
“Each of these simulation leaders are providing expert leadership in the movement to make engineering simulation software more accessible, efficient, reliable and impactful not just for CAE experts but also for others across the enterprise such as design engineers—what is commonly referred to as the Democratization of Simulation,” says Rev-Sim co-founder, Rich McFall. “We are excited to have Future Facilities join other participants who are demonstrating their revolutionary thought and technology leadership in a collaborative alliance that benefits all industrial users of engineering simulation technologies.”
