New Release Confirms Optimus as Open Platform for Design Space Exploration and Optimization
Flagship product focuses on performance improvements for Optimus’ Adaptive DOE algorithm and its 1-click optimizer NAVIRUN.
October 10, 2019
Noesis Solutions announces the availability of Optimus 2019.2. This new release of its flagship product focuses on performance improvements for Optimus’ Adaptive DOE algorithm and its 1-click optimizer NAVIRUN. In addition, Optimus 2019.2 provides new capabilities to plug custom plots into Optimus' powerful post-processing framework and supports power simulation licensing for JMAG Designer.
Optimus 2019.2 brings several improvements to Optimus' Adaptive DOE algorithm that learns from available data points and iteratively adds extra data samples in design space regions. This new Optimus release further extends the capabilities of the NAVIRUN 1-click optimizer, using a new strategy based on Optimus’ unmatched surrogate modeling capabilities.
This new 2019.2 release further extends Optimus’ post-processing framework. Engineers can now run their post-processing scripts developed in Python, R or another programming language, and plot the results directly inside Optimus.
Optimus’ enhanced interface for JMAG Designer now enables users to benefit from JMAG’s Power Simulation License (PSL) when running a Design Space Exploration or an Optimization campaign. The PSL license system has been implemented by JSOL, the developer of JMAG Designer, to facilitate multi-case simulations that cover combinations of numerous design parameters and ranges. Thanks to the new integration with JMAG’s PSL, Optimus users can now benefit from shorter simulation times when concurrently processing multiple cases while consuming a single JMAG license.
