The most recent version of CoreTechnologie’s 3D printing software, 4D_Additive 1.5, has achieved the certification for integration with the latest generation of HP 52xx printers.
After extensive testing, the 3D printing software 4D_Additive from the Franco-German software developer CoreTechnologie has been approved by the printer manufacturer for its new 52xx series. The latest advancement enables users to conveniently send build jobs directly from the 3D printing software also to all HP Multijet Fusion printers of the latest 52xx series.
Automated 3D Printing Process
Thanks to the 3D nesting functions of 4D_Additive and a variety of interfaces, the tool imports CAD models of all common formats, automatically places them in the build space and directly sends them to the HP print server. The HP machines of the 52xx series, which are designed for production can be filled with the software in an automated and fast process, as the nesting is carried out with an integrated collision control.
The software, which can be used for all common 3D printing processes, has a revised module to create grid structures used, for example, for the design of lightweight components. A function of 4D_Additive is the generation of textures based on the surfaces of the CAD models. Analysis functions for determining critical wall thicknesses and optimizing the orientation of the parts as well as repair functions help to optimize the 3D printing workflow with a single software package.
Further information on the software is available here.
